About This Resource:
Craigsville Presbyterian Cemetery aka Craigsville Community Cemetery is located
just off of Route 42, with the entrance just off of Cemetery Lane. 380443N 0792310W. The cemetery is
located behind Community Memorial Cemetery and is still in use for
burials today. The cemetery is owned by the Craigsville Presbyterian Church located across Route
42 in the town of Craigsville. There are a lot of the same families that are buried in Community
Memorial whose siblings and offspring are buried at Craigsville Presbyterian.
The cemetery was read and imaged in October 2004. The database and associated images are the copyrighted work of William E. Wilson, Jr. who generously supplied them to the Allen County Public Library for distribution to individual genealogical researchers.
About Searching This Resource:
The database doesn't store the surname separately from the first name,
so you'll have to enter your search like this:
The search engine will try to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, if Use Fuzzy Search is
set to Yes (which it is by default), the search engine will
match partial names. If you search for Smith, the engine will find
anything that has Smith in it. It would find Smith, Adam, Smithson, Ted, etc.
If you set Use Fuzzy Search to No, then searching for Smith, Adam will
only find entries whose name is exactly Smith, Adam. It will not find Smith, Adam T.
Please use the fields below to refine your search. Note that while none of
the fields are mandatory, you'll get better results if you refine your search.
Also, to keep the system running smoothly, the search will return a maximum of
1000 items.
