Map made according to the survey of J. S. Goshorn, City Ciy. Engineer, made under the direction of Colonel O. M. Pope, Corps of Engrs., Brt. Brig. Gen. U.S.A. August 15th,1888, in obedience to Act of Congress approved May 1888. This map was published in the Report of the Secretary of War; Being part of the message and documents communicated to the two houses of Congress at the beginning of the first session of the Fifty-First Congress, specifically in Vol. 2, pt. 4 (1889).
